Take What I'm Given

Sometimes it's okay to play a sad song, drink wine, run out of wine, bike in 30 degree weather to a bar 20 minutes away, order whiskey on the rocks, realize that one drink clears out your cash on hand, ride back home, eat a bowl of cheerios.

Life is awkward and sometimes lonely but "feeling is good"

Around The Roller Rink

And I don't know
Whether I follow or lead
It's the best thing
that could ever be
Just to hold your hand
And waltz around the roller rink

Respect

"I want young men and young women who are not alive today to know and see that these new privileges and opportunities did not come without somebody suffering and sacrificing for them".

Martin Luther King has always been one of my role models growing up. I can truly site him as someone who inspired me to be a better person by turning the other cheek and engaging in peaceful protest. It's great that we have a day off honoring him but, like most of out holidays, the meaning becomes lost in the need to take one extra day off to over indulge in over eating, shopping and drinking. I just wanted to take this time out to recognize King for what he did for ALL people oppressed by injustice.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Thank you

What would happen if Dr. King somehow didn't die but was put in a coma only to wake up some 32 years later? Hmmm

Construction Site

My life these past few years can be measured in the amount of IKEA furniture assembled

So what does that say about me?
