Attended a baby shower ushering a new life into this world
Sat and had a conversation with an old soul
One I see at least once a year
Though names escape us both our eyes reassure a friend approaches
We flash our teeth
A smile
This is an old friend
I am always amazed at how this old soul connects with my young soul which is so vibrant and full of life
I was reassured of how my young soul is not so young and not so old but perhaps simply "new"
