What was I taught about love?
I learned that love comes & goes and and leaves with no explanation
That love is hard to hold onto and is often slipping out of our grasp
Love can sprout up as soon as it can wither and die
Love does not speak to the other when it is hurt unless it is shouting because it feels neglected
Love can be selfish and love can be jealous
Love can come pounding on the door at 4:00AM when everyone else is asleep
kicking the door, demanding to be let in
Love is an illusion one thinks he or she possess when the liquor has done it's damage
It is also the gifts that come after when love feels remorse the next morning
Love pleads "I will change, I have changed, let me back in" when in fact it changes enough to pretend that it will never hurt me or you again
Love is deceitful and untrustworthy and if you have it hold onto it because generations have no idea what it is
Beginings
Love is quick to come and assures you "this time it will be different"
Love is a whirlwind of pleasure that feels as though it will last forever even when your heart tells you to approach with caution
Love is spending every second together regardless of ones "individual time"
Love sacrifices itself for the sake of maintaining love
Love makes you do crazy things
